A MYSTERY member of the Clarkson’s Farm gang has hit back at a viewer for branding the team “spineless” and “heartless’ after devastating losses.

Season three of the much-loved Prime Video series saw Clarkson deal with the loss of dozens of piglets as well as his favourite pig, The Baroness.

Jeremy and partner, Lisa Hogan, said goodbye to the pig after it was discovered she had developed cancer and needed to be put down.

In the emotional scenes, Jeremy was seen in tears after becoming attached to the farm animal, walking away before The Baroness was euthanized.

While the loss was clearly devastating to Jeremy, the farm now has new piglets to take care of, and Lisa posted a new update on how well they’re doing on Diddly Squat’s official Instagram page as well as her own.

The piglets were seen playfully running around their pens as Lisa watched on from behind the camera.

She then told fans: “This little piggy and this little piggy, didn’t go to the market. They are here at [Fenns Wood] fattening up to breed which is really good news.

Lisa added they were “absolutely gorgeous and very happy here.”

While many celebrated the news, one user risked the wrath of those who run the Diddly Squat Instagram account by slamming the farmer for the Baroness’s fate.

“Letting Baroness die with the vet was heartless though. Lost my wife as a fan with that decision,” they wrote, later adding the issue lay with Jeremy “not having the courage to be with the animal” when she died.

“Farm life isn’t easy. Leaving it and walking away is spineless,” they wrote.

Diddly Squat’s official account hit back at the comment, saying: “Baroness has a cancerous growth pushing against her lung. Without Amazon paying for an autopsy, we, like most farmers, would never have known.”

Others also jumped to Jeremy’s defence, with one writing: “Seems to me they put the piggle to sleep as soon as they knew she was suffering – I wouldn’t want my animals to have to wait just so I could be there too if they were in pain.”

Across the third season of Clarkson’s Farm, the gang of Diddly Squat were seen dealing with unimaginable hardship with the animals, the business, and in their personal lives.

Fan favourite Gerald took time away from the show after he was diagnosed with cancer, but got back to work as soon as he could to the delight of fans.

Deciding to breed pigs, things went from bad to worse when, on their birth, the mother rolled over on the piglets while sleeping and crushed them.

It prompted Jeremy to develop a rig to put in the birthing pen in a bid to keep them safe.

Filming for season four is currently underway.
