SUMMARY

Cameron Diaz is in talks to star alongside Keanu Reeves in Outcome , a dark comedy directed by Jonah Hill, marking her second feature film after a decade break.
Outcome follows Reeves as a tormented Hollywood star confronting his past; details on Diaz’s role remain unknown in the Apple Studios production.
Diaz, with history in beloved films like The Mask and There’s Something About Mary , broke from acting before her return in works like Netflix’s Back in Action , co-starring Jamie Foxx.

Cameron Diaz is in talks to reteam with Keanu Reeves for Jonah Hill’s upcoming dark comedy Outcome. Per Variety, Diaz is in final negotiations to join the project.

This will mark Diaz’s second feature film following a ten-year acting hiatus and her second time working with Reeves. The two collaborated on Steven J. Baigelman’s 1996 comedy-drama Feeling Minnesota.

For Hill’s Outcome, Reeves will star as Reef, a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.

Details surrounding Diaz’s character remain unknown.

Outcome will be Hill’s sophomore directorial feature, following 2018’s Mid90s; Hill also directed (and appears in) the Netflix documentary Stutz, which chronicles the life and career of Hill’s therapist, Dr. Phil Stutz. Outcome‘s script is co-scribed by Hill and Ezra Woods.

Hill also produces with Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner. Outcome is an Apple Studios production.
