Brad Pitt accused his ex-wife Angelina Jolie of secretly selling assets owned by both of them without consulting.

According to Page Six , on September 21, Brad Pitt filed a lawsuit against Angelina Jolie in court, accusing his ex-wife of secretly selling off assets that they both co-owned. 

Specifically, Angelina Jolie sold 50% of her shares in the common property in the Chateau Miraval estate, France. This entire property is owned by Quimicum company. 

This is a company managed  by Angelina Jolie and her husband with the initial shares corresponding to 40% for Angelina Jolie and 60% for Brad Pitt. 

At the time of their divorce in 2016, Brad Pitt transferred to his ex-wife an additional 10% of the share value, helping them become equal shareholders.

According to documents submitted to the court, with the number of shares sold, Angelina Jolie earned about 164 million USD.

Page Six sources say that although Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have the same number of shares, if either wants to sell assets, they must notify the other.

 “Brad Pitt did all the work, and Angelina Jolie did nothing,” a source complained about Angelina Jolie’s lack of responsibility when doing business together.

Recently, specifically after the two decided to divorce, there was information that Angelina Jolie intentionally circumvented the law in doing business together and continuously delayed approval of her work and annual reports. Quimicum company . 

The Daily Mail commented that Angelina Jolie’s actions were almost as if she wanted to “retaliate” against her ex-husband because of personal anger related to gaining custody of their children.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in August 2016 on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences” and requested custody of 5 of the couple’s 6 children including: Pax Thien (16 years old), Zahara (16 years old).
