Pretty-boy Hollywood actor Alan Ritchson is facing massive backlash for needlessly trash-talking conservative Christian Trump supporters.

The trash-talking started last month when he complained to The Hollywood Reporter that former President Donald Trump “is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treating him like he’s their poster child.”

Ritchson, the star of the Amazon Prime Video series “Reacher,” doubled down in a recent YouTube video.

His latest rant began with him referencing Bible verse Jeremiah 22: 2-3.

“So if we go to the prophets, what do they say?” he rhetorically asked. “‘Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor, the one who has been wronged. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’”

“When I think about that, I think about politics. And when I think about this, I think about an entire platform by those who mostly claim to be Christians, who are doing the exact opposite of this with their voting power — who are trying to do violence to the foreigner, who are not helping the fatherless, who are making victims of widows,” he added.

The part about the “foreigner” was presumably a reference to the right’s opposition to illegal migration and mass migration.

“This is the kind of generosity we are called to, and it’s for everybody,”  he continued. “It’s not just for believers. It’s not just for those who have been indoctrinated into the church. It’s not just for those who are American or fit your nation state or fly your flag. It is for everybody!”

“If you want to see violence flee the world, be more generous to everybody! That is the Christian ethic! That is what I don’t see happening. And when I speak up about it in my own ways, I’m met with violence. The antidote to violence is generosity. Generosity is owed to individuals, not to institutions,” he concluded.

The part about being “met with violence” was presumably a reference to the criticism he’s received for bashing Trump supporters. Evidently, like a typical leftist, he too believes “speech is violence.”

Conservative Christian Trump supporters have not been responding well to the actor’s latest screed, with many accusing him of perpetrating the exact same injustices he’s accused others of doing.

“Was a fan till you started judging other’s,” the top-voted comment on Ritchson’s video reads. “Till you started saying false statements. You don’t want Christians that support Trump to watch your new movie not a problem. I’ll do one even better I’ll never watch anything with you in it.”

“God says judge not lest ye be judged. God also says beware of false prophets. Last but not lest Trump has not been convicted of rape. Know what you are talking about before you speak and make false statements!” the fierce critic added.

Criticism is also flourishing on the social media site X.

So just how radically left-wing is Ritchson?

In a previous video, he described Trump and Rep. Matt Gaetz as “antichrist figures” and “complained about “systems” of “white capitalist America.”

No joke.

 

He also once reportedly wrote that the Republican Party was marching “the U.S. ever closer towards a violent dictatorship.”
