SUMMARY
Reacher season 3 adds key villain Quinn, played by Brian Tee, from Lee Child’s novel Persuader .

Roberto Montesinos as DEA agent Villanueva & Daniel David Stewart as rookie DEA man Elliot round out the new cast announcements.
Reacher season 3 adds four more actors to the cast, including a key villain from the book. Author Lee Child’s hulking ex-military police investigator Jack Reacher hit Amazon Prime Video back in 2022, in a story inspired by the novel Killing Floor. Bad Luck and Trouble formed the basis for Reacher season 2, which arrived in 2024. Now Child’s Persuader, the seventh book in the long-running series, forms the basis for the upcoming Reacher season 3.
Reacher season 3 does not currently have a release date.
Reacher Season 3’s Four New Characters Explained
They Join Anthony Michael Hall’s Zachary Beck & Sonya Cassidy’s Susan Duffy
Richard Beck is the son of the previously announced Anthony Michael Hall’s character Zachary Beck.
New Reacher character Quinn is described as, “physically imposing and intimidating…a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army whom Reacher investigated ten years ago when he sold military secrets to hostile nations.” Richard Beck, the son of the previously announced Anthony Michael Hall’s character Zachary Beck, is “a sensitive and artistic college student” who “five years ago…was the victim of a traumatic kidnapping which left him mutilated.”
Quinn is indeed one of the big villains pulled from Reacher novel Persuader, but Reacher will have new allies too. Guillermo Villanueva, the mentor and father figure of agent Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy), is “paunchy with bad knees and a good-natured sense of humor.”
The character “really loves and cares about Duffy even though they bust each other’s chops all the time.” Lastly, Steven Elliot is “a clean-cut rookie DEA agent…a lovable guy who’s fresh-faced, new to the job and still learning.”
Reacher season 3 is indeed assembling an interesting cast of characters, some of whom make up Reacher’s new team of allies (along with returning character Neagley), and some of whom will find themselves in his cross-hairs.
More announcements from Amazon Prime Video are expected in the coming months as the show continues to fill out its cast.
