Amazon Is Currently Filming Reacher Season 3

Although the Amazon Prime series Reacher just finished airing Season 2, the series starring Alan Ritchson is already filming in Toronto. According to Deadline, Jack is going to “go undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past.”

Returning for the third season is Maria Sten, who played Frances Neagley in Season 2.

In addition, Alan Ritchson is now an executive producer of the series for Season 3. He joins author Lee Child, and showrunner Nick Santora, who are both executive producers of this series.

Amazon has found a formula that works for them. They include the bestselling author as an executive producer. This is just like author Michael Connelly executive producing Amazon’s other hit series, Bosch: Legacy. The fans like the authenticity and use of the original material.

This brings the question of which book Season 3 is based on. They have kept mum on this for a while.

Which Book Will Season 3 Of Reacher Be Based On?

On Wednesday, Amazon did share which Lee Child’s book Reacher Season 3 will be based on. It will be Persuader. This is the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series.

Does Alan Ritchson Do His Own Stunts On Amazon Prime Series?

There is a lot of action in Reacher. Fans may wonder whether Alan Ritchson does his own stunts. He certainly does!

According to Variety, Ritchson revealed a stunning stunt where he ran through a sheet of glass. Firstly, the actor was asked if his stuntman should do it. He said, “No, man, I’m doing this.”

Afterward, he admitted that his “primal brain” told him to not go through the glass. After he did it, he had “little shards of glass” stuck to him for days.

But, that wasn’t what disappointed him. “But when I saw it in the cut, it was shot so wide, it could have been anybody. I was so disappointed because it was me and that was a very harrowing, terrifying five seconds of running.”

There, he said it. It was a “terrifying” experience. Worst of all, because of how it was filmed, viewers couldn’t tell if it was him, or a stuntman.

Perhaps he will listen to his primal brain next time?

The first two seasons of Reacher are available to stream on Amazon Prime now. There is no date for the premiere of Season 3.
