Keanu Reeves may be about to shake things up a little in the John Wick universe with an unexpected crossover.
The Speed actor returned in the role of the not-so-retired assassin for the fourquel in Chad Stahelski’s action saga.

The fourth chapter, which premiered at the end of the last month, sees John finally setting score with the High Table in a deadly showdown across Japan and Europe.
And in true John Wick fashion, there are adorable puppies in this one too.
While the ending leaves some doubt as to when and if we’ll get to see Reeves’s skilled hitman once again, it seems as if the star would at least consider creative pitches from the franchise’s fans.
Answering queries from John Wick lovers on Reddit, the Always Be My Maybe actor replied to an unexpected crossover idea.
Will John Wick ever cross paths with The Equalizer – the vigilante played by Denzel Washington in the 2014 film (a reboot of the 1980s series of the same name) and recently by Queen Latifah in a new TV adaptation?
Well, Reeves seemed amused at the prospect.
“…Ha…no… that would be crazy. Crazy good!” he replied.

But Reeves’s action franchise will soon give way to two spinoffs to keep fans entertained as they wait for a potential fifth instalment.
Ballerina, staring Ana de Armas, will follow Rooney, a ballet dancer and assassin who seeks revenge after her family gets killed.
The film is directed by Len Wiseman, from a script by John Wick’s Shay Hatten and Emerald Fennell, who knows a thing or two about onscreen vendettas after helming award-winning revenge movie Promising Young Woman.
Keanu Reeves will be resurrecting John Wick for Ballerina. The saga will also make the leap to the small screen with TV limited series The Continental, chronicling Winston’s journey to become the New York Continental owner in the 1970s, with Colin Woodell starring as a younger version of McShane’s character.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t had a chance to get your action fix just yet, you can catch John Wick: Chapter 4 in cinemas now.
