Actor Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick invested most of their hard-earned money in Bernie Madoff’s $50 billion Ponzi scheme, but unfortunately, the scheme turned out to be fake and the two lost that money. The amount was huge and it was certainly hard to cope with, however, they had a simple way. In a Q&A with GQ, Bacon said (via Fox News),

“I don’t think there was a moment where it was like, that thing happened and then we got pissed at each other. It was sort of the opposite – We kind of went, ‘Holy s**t. Let’s… I don’t know. Let’s have s*x or something. It’s free!”

The amount of money they lost was never revealed but Bacon did say that they invested “a lot of money.” The couple didn’t let this financial loss destroy their lives as they worked hard again to recover from it.
