Popular for his role as Jack Reacher in Prime Video’s Reacher, actor Alan Ritchson plays Anders Lassen in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Ahead of the release of the movie, actors Henry Cavill, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and Hero Fiennes Tiffin spoke to Extra TV about their experience working with Jack Reacher himself.
Henry Cavill, who plays Gus March Phillips in the movie, is also known for preparing for his roles both physically and mentally. Cavill is one of the actors who has been appreciated by the audience for his buffed-up appearance just like Ritchson. During the interview, when the cast members were introduced, Cavill, talking about Ritchson, said,
“Some morning gym sessions—I think it’s probably the movie where I’ve left all of that to Alan. Alan sort of really carried that torch.”

Golding added that there is no outdoing Alan Ritchson, so they just told him that he should take the spotlight. Earlier, Cavill shared a video on his social media, compiling some of the footage from the movie, including the interview the duo gave together. In that, the audience can hear Alan Ritchson praising Cavill as he said,
“Henry is a perfect number one. He is the first one there, the last to leave, always knows his stuff, and he’s always positive. He leads by example; I’m impressed.”
Contrary to that, Cavill joked and said that Alan is a terrible person to work with; he’s uncouth, eats too much, is out of shape, and just has no dedication at all. The actor later clarified that the actor is, in fact, a wonderful person to work with.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin describes Henry Cavill as an ‘ultimate gentleman’
During an interview with ET, actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin shared that the Superman actor can be best described as a gentleman, adding that it’s because he has an unwavering commitment to the cause, energy, consistency, and mood. He added,
“He has the ability to just keep everybody up and keep the momentum going. I’ve always noticed that any time there’s a conversation going on set, I feel like Henry’s got his eye out for anyone who’s somewhat involved in the conversation and will always ask their two cents.”

Alex Pettyfer, who plays Geoffrey Appleyard, also noted that the actor has a way about him where it’s about the quality and about coming together, and there is no hierarchy.
He said to Cavill that it’s his honor to work on this movie with him, adding that it has been like a learning curve to see how the number one treats everyone in the cast and crew.
Henry Cavill, however, added that making the movie was an enjoyable experience, and it’s all thanks to his fellow actors and Guy Ritchie.
He mentioned that when working feels enjoyable, it goes on to creating an environment that is easygoing, where one can not only have fun but also shine.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled for release on April 19.
