Actor Gerard Butler, was reportedly rejected by a young woman he met at a restaurant in Los Angeles because of his age.

A source told Life&Style magazine: “Gerard tried to approach a beautiful young woman in her 20s, but he was quickly shot down.

“Then the young woman turned to her friends and said, ‘Wow, that guy is old enough to be my grandfather. His friends teased Gerard mercilessly and suggested he might need to change his strategy,” the source added.

However, Butler has now resumed his relationship with ex-girlfriend Morgan Brown. The couple was spotted hanging out together at a beach in Mexico over the weekend.

At that time, it was known that Butler, who was preparing to film the movie Keepers, in which he plays a lighthouse keeper, had given up his six-pack abs and gained weight.

He told GQ in 2016, “I’m working out five times a week now. I do a lot of cardio but I started doing heavy workouts because for my next movie I have to be muscular, a big undercover cop in LA with tattoos all over – so it’s not big and cut, it’s just big Stop.”
