After noticing Butler’s discomfort at talking about their past romance on WWHL, Brandi slammed her former flame on Twitter Thursday, January 18.

“Let’s set the record straight. Gerard Butler hit on me at a party, asked for my phone number, called me up the next day, and asked me out, so if he wants to cringe now he can f— off,” Brandi tweeted.

She also confirmed on Twitter that Butler did not know her last name or what she did for a living when they hooked up. “I’m sorry, but when you meet someone that clearly doesn’t know who you are, are you suppose[d] to be a dick and say bye I’m famous????” she tweeted Thursday.

Brandi Glanville let it slip that she once hooked up with Hollywood hunk Gerard Butler when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live in 2012.

“It wasn’t a one-nighter. It was just a little week of fun,” Brandi told Andy Cohen after revealing this bit of gossip during a round of Plead the Fifth. She also gave their hookup a rating of 11 out of 10, so obviously we were dying to hear more about this brief romance.

We’ve waited about six long years for Butler to enter the Clubhouse to dish on his experience with Brandi, and the wait is finally over. Butler appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, and he addressed the fling, saying he initially had “no idea” Brandi was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when he met her one summer all those years ago.

“I had no idea who she was,” he shared (clip above). “And I kept saying, ‘What do you do?’ She goes, ‘It doesn’t matter. It’s not important.'”

So the two went on to have that “little week of fun,” as Brandi put it in 2012. “Anyway, we hung out, we had fun, and then I never saw her again. Suddenly, I was walking down the street with a director and these guys from TMZ go, ‘Hey, what about you and Brandi Glanville?’ And I’m like, ‘Who’s Brandi Glanville?’ because I didn’t even know her last name,” he shared. “So I’m like, ‘Who’s Brandi Glanville?’ She got pretty upset.”

The always-unfiltered Brandi had something to say about all this chatter on Twitter Wednesday night. “If you want to know the truth you should listen to @HowardStern interview Gerard Butler,” she tweeted. “That’s it the rest is garbage.”

Butler first confirmed that he hooked up with Brandi during a 2013 interview on The Howard Stern Show. He recounted a story similar to the one he told on WWHL, saying he “felt bad” he didn’t know who Brandi was at first when the paparazzi asked him about her.

“Then I called [Brandi] and said, ‘One, I’m not very happy that you did that because there’s certain things you gotta keep a little private. And two, I’m sorry I didn’t know who you were,'” Butler explained.

“And she was in tears. She said, ‘I’m doing the press for my new show, and now they don’t want to talk about the show; they just want to say, ‘So Gerard Butler claims he doesn’t know you, and you said you had sex with him.'”

Another one of Brandi’s past celebrity romances was revealed on WWHL in 2016 when Ben Stiller revealed that the two had dated during a round of Plead the Fifth. “Oh, wow. It was short-lived, and it was fun,” Stiller said. “I wouldn’t characterize it as a relationship. It was a couple of dates. And fun. And I’m not sure if my wife even is aware of that.”
