Gerard Butler was seen cosying up to model Penny Lane whilst on an apparent date together in London recently.

The actor, 54, was spotted out in the capital city with Penny, 29 – who has modelled for the likes of Sports Illustrated magazine. The pair were photographed strolling down a street together, as well as having enjoyed a visit to a pub.

Photos show Penny with her hands on Gerard’s shoulder as she seemingly massaged them. It appears that he couldn’t stop smiling during the outing, whilst his apparent date also sported a smile throughout the series of photos, which were published by the Sun on Wednesday afternoon.

Penny was seen wearing a grey hoodie underneath a black jacket, which she accompanied with what appeared to be a pair of black leggings. She sported white trainers as part of the outfit and she accessorised with a dark handbag.

Gerard – who is known for films like 300 (2006) – modelled a co-ordinated khaki shirt and matching trousers. He wore a pair of white trainers for the recent outing and was seen having accessorised his outfit with a dark flat cap.

Penny, from Cheshire, is known for having featured in the annual Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated this year. She’s in the issue, which launched in May, alongside the likes of model Chrissy Teigen, gymnast Olivia Dunne, broadcaster Gayle King and former footballer Brittany Mahomes.

A profile for Penny, which was released by the magazine earlier this year, states that when she’s not modeling, she enjoys “outdoor adventures” and “extreme sports” like race car driving. It adds that she can also be found baking.

It notes that Penny is also a holistic health coach and an actor, with her said to have appeared as a guard in Justice League (2017). According to the profile from May, she’s “gearing up to work on two different theatrical projects”.

Last year, it was announced that she had been chosen as a Sports Illustrated Rookie. She’s understood to have received the role after being declared a co-winner of the SI Swim Search. Penny made her debut in the 2024 SI Swimsuit issue.

Announcing the role, she said in October last year: “So today is a really, really, really special day because I get to share with you some news that I’ve been having to to hold as a secret for far too long now and it’s been driving me crazy. If you haven’t guessed already, I’m gonna be a Sports Illustrated Rookie for 2024.” She added: “It’s really exciting.”

Gerard is understood to have previously been in a long-term relationship with interior designer Morgan Brown, 53. The former couple were said to have first got together in 2014 and reportedly had an “on/off romance” for nine years.
