In 2016, several reports suggested that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were arguing on their private airplane, which ended up turning into a physical altercation after the actor put his hands on his wife. It was also mentioned that this incident was so serious that their son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, had to intervene.

While Pitt and his team claimed this to be a minor incident, Jolie said otherwise, calling it abuse. This resulted in the two getting divorced and the actress getting full custody of their children, up until May 2021, when the two were awarded 50-50 custody.

In 2020, Pax shared an Instagram post, which he quickly deleted, where he called his father a terrible human, referring to him as an awful person. This rant was leaked and only made his image in the public worse.

Zahara has also changed her name from Zahara Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie, as she revealed while introducing herself at a sorority event. The actor hasn’t made a response to any of their incidents after 2016, choosing to stay quiet. While this has only caused more damage to his image, it would seem that he is finally taking action.

In 2016, Brad Pitt allegedly hired Matthew Hiltzick of Hiltzik Strategies to help ease the blow of his divorce from Angelina Jolie on his public image. Hiltzick is known as one of the best in the business when it comes to public relations, having quite a few big names under his belt, from Justin Bieber, Donald Trump, Katie Couric, and even Harvey Weinstein.

Most recently, He was responsible for helping Johnny Depp through his trial with Amber Heard. Though he had been working for Pitt since 2016, Hiltzick wasn’t very involved in what the press was saying about the actor’s personal life. That was, until now.

It has been claimed by “sources” that the actor has brought about a lot of positive changes in his life, via In Touch. On top of reporting that he has been putting his well-being and his family first, they have also claimed that he recognized his drinking problem and is deeply sorry for how things went down with his family.

They have also made claims that the actor is in a good place with Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, Knox Jolie-Pitt, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. He does not force his children to see him and is now focused on bettering his relationship with the rest of his children, hoping for Maddox to forgive him for all that transpired.
