The rest of The Daily Mail’s article revealed a series of times that Affleck and Lopez looked like they were fighting. The first example of that is The Daily Mail claimed the couple appeared to be arguing in September 2023 when they were photographed traveling in a car together.

Similarly, The Daily Mail’s article claimed that Affleck and Lopez seemed to be fighting while at a red light in May 2023. In this case, the article pointed out that Affleck appeared to be especially animated during this incident.

Compare that to the photo that appears above this paragraph in which Lopez and Affleck can be seen laughing together. The two photos of the couple were both taken at the same red carpet event.
Many observers have come to conclude that Affleck looks unhappy when his face is at rest. For proof of this theory, they point to the supposed “sad Affleck” moment that happened during an interview with Henry Cavill. Affleck later responded to that moment by saying that he’d learned “not to do interviews with Henry Cavill where I don’t say anything and they can lay Simon & Garfunkel tracks over it”.
In reality, there is no way for outsiders to know how good Lopez and Affleck’s marriage is or isn’t based on photos or videos. After all, virtually every happy couple in the world sometimes argues.
