Roman Reigns just broke his silence after an unfortunate update. This comes after he suffered a major loss.

Roman Reigns is one of the most dominant superstars in recent history, having been a World Champion for over 1,000 days. However, after losing his title at WrestleMania 40, the Tribal Chief has not been seen on WWE television. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa has taken control of the Bloodline.

Reigns recently suffered a major loss. His father, Sika, who is one-half of the Wild Samoans, passed away. The WWE Hall of Famer had a profound impact on Reigns’ life and career. He even made a few appearances on television to acknowledge the Tribal Chief

After the news of Sika’s passing broke, Roman Reigns took to social media to let everyone know how much his father impacted his family and his life.

“My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola’ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you.”

It is sad to hear about Sika’s passing, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Anoa’i family in these difficult times.

What was Solo Sikoa’s breaking point? Exploring reason for rebellion against Roman Reigns

Solo Sikoa has made The Bloodline his own since the departure of Roman Reigns. While the Tribal Chief may only be on hiatus, it feels as though his former Tribal Heir has taken full control of the faction. While Sikoa maintains that he is doing all this with Reigns’ blessing, one cannot help but feel this is a rebellion against the status quo. But what was the breaking point for The Street Champion?

To understand why Solo Sikoa decided to “betray” Roman Reigns, one has to analyze their relationship. While there is no doubt that Sikoa was loyal to The Head of The Table, they did have some tense moments. Whether it was Reigns bumping into Sikoa on one episode of SmackDown or downplaying The Enforcer’s thoughts, one could notice a visible undercurrent between the duo. But perhaps the breaking point for Sikoa came at WrestleMania 40.

Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules Match at The Show of Shows earlier this year. During the match, Solo Sikoa came to The Tribal Chief’s rescue and laid out The American Nightmare.

After attacking Cody, Sikoa screamed at Reigns to get up and finish the job. However, The Big Dog took his time to get back to his feet. The frustration in Solo’s eyes was quite visible. Hence, Roman’s casual attitude and his eventual defeat could have convinced The Tribal Heir to take the burden of restoring The Bloodline to its former glory on his shoulders.

Solo Sikoa recently anointed the newest members of The Bloodline

Solo Sikoa has made some big changes since taking over the reins of The Bloodline. Most notably, he kicked out Jimmy Uso before adding Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the heel faction.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Sikoa held a special ceremony where he formally acknowledged both Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. He named Tama his Right Hand Man and dubbed the latter’s brother “The Infamous” Tonga Loa.

These are certainly interesting times for The Bloodline. The group has become more and more ruthless in recent weeks. It will be interesting to see how the saga unfolds in the coming weeks.
