The WWE legend A WWE Hall of Famer has confirmed that he has hung up his boots for good. The veteran will never have a wrestling match apart from making special appearances if and when needed.

The Undertaker put his body on the line for over three decades and entertained the fans with his dreadful and awe-inspiring on-screen presentation. The 59-year-old’s last match came at WrestleMania 36 where he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match.

That being said, The Deadman has made several cameos in WWE ever since, with the latest being at WrestleMania 40. Taker came out to even the odds for Cody Rhodes against Roman Reigns in a “Bloodline Rules” match. He delivered a massive Chokeslam to The Rock before exiting the ring.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, the former World Heavyweight Champion was asked if he’d be willing to lace up his boots, put on a gear, and step back between the ropes for one more match.

“I could do it, but I couldn’t do it to the standard that I wanted to do it. But I mean yeah, there’s certain things that I don’t feel like I would be able to do. But after I did it I came back and I was like, I’m good now. I don’t need to do this again. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t if they needed something like that again, but I’m not gonna have a match or I’m not coming out of retirement,” The Undertaker said. [H/T – ChrisVanVliet.com]

The Undertaker reveals iconic moment with 46-year-old WWE Superstar

Brock Lesnar broke The Phenom’s legendary WrestleMania streak back in 2014. The next year at WWE SummerSlam 2015, Taker got back at The Beast Incarnate in a rematch. In this one-on-one competition at The Biggest Party of the Summer, the 59-year-old veteran and Lesnar shared an incredible moment with a burst of back-to-back menacing laughter at each other.

During the same conversation, The Undertaker revealed his reaction to The Beast Incarnate’s chuckle was impromptu, and he was glad it worked out fine on TV.

“So when he [Brock Lesnar] did it, I was almost taken aback a little bit like what the freaking hell are you laughing at that? And then it kind of dawned on me what he was doing. And then I laugh back at him and it’s yeah, it’s become kind of an iconic deal but yeah, if I’d have been paying close enough attention I’d probably go Yeah, I don’t know if I want to do that. But the way it worked, it worked out worked out fine,” ‘Taker said.

Since the Hall of Famer has confirmed that the door for another match is locked and that he will never wrestle again, the WWE Universe is awaiting another special appearance after this year’s The Showcase of The Immortals.
