McAfee made some bold claims about their relationship

Pat McAfee pulled up Taylor Swift’s Instagram live on ESPNAP / IGIt’s a new era in sports television. One where a former NFL punter, Pat McAfee, is one of the biggest names on ESPN, and conversations about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dominate the airwaves. This includes Swift’s late night social media behavior that caught McAfee completely off guard and led him to make a bold proclamation about her relationship to the Kansas City Chiefs star.

“Taylor, congrats on your first Super Bowl,” McAfee said during a monologue about the Chiefs’ ring ceremony that took place on Thursday night.

He emphasized that Swift was “a part of it all” as the Chiefs made the storybook run to Super Bowl LVIII behind star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, with Swift appearing at many games to cheer on Kelce.

But what stunned McAfee the most about the ceremony was what Taylor did on social media in the meantime. Still on the UK leg of her International Eras Tour, Swift finished a show in Liverpool with a 6-hour time difference and then hit Instagram to celebrate.

She put a flurry of comments on an Instagram Live stream of the Super Bowl ring ceremony, hosted by Mecole Hardman‘s partner, Chariah Gordon.

The controversial ESPN host, maligned last week for calling Caitlin Clark “white b*itch,” seems to be shipping the Chiefs power couple and predicting a happy ending. He spoke profusely about how happy Travis seems and Taylor’s genuine interest in the success of the team.

His co-hosts jumped in by taking the ring conversation a step further: “What if Trav’s ring has ‘Will you marry me?’ on the inside of it and the Chiefs set it up that way and he’s gonna propose with the ring.

They have been enjoying the off-season

Brittany Mahomes has been enjoying what must surely be her favorite time of the year, as her husband Patrick Mahomes is not travelling all around the country with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL is not active right now which means the father of her children is more present than normal and they can go on some trips of her own, and she has been preparing for their final holiday before duty calls for the Chiefs quarterback.

She has shared an image on her Instagram story that shows some dresses laid out on the bed in a messy room, with their dog Steel lying beside her with his paw on her stomach.

It seems that the task of packing for a trip was a bit much for everyone involved and they needed a rest.

A tough trip to pack for

The 28-year-old also showed off her incredible boots and shoe collection in the post, which was captioned: “Ask me about packing for a 4-week trip.”

The NFL season is scheduled to return on September 5, 2024, meaning Brittany must be in store for a trip that takes up most of the remaining time before the season resumes.

With Taylor Swift currently doing her Eras Tour in Europe, Brittany is currently without one of her good friends and is more focused on her family
