On Wednesday the 44-year-old performer showed up to an LA taping of American Idol in a flirty pink mini skirt that would be more appropriate on a teenager.

 

But the Dance Again singer did manage to carry the fashion statement off beautifully as her toned legs – the result of daily workout sessions – did not disappoint.

A long-sleeved, iridescent top that showed off the Bronx native’s chest was flattering. A pink clutch, diamond oval hoop earrings, diamond encrusted watch and chunky ring full of ice rounded out the glamorous look.

J-Lo opted for a youthful hair style as well with on-trend partially clipped up locks that can be seen in Seventeen magazine. Yup, she’s still Jenny From The Block.

Idol host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judge Keith Urban – whose wife Nicole Kidman touched down with their two daughters in Australia that same day – were also on hand, though both were very dressed down in jeans.

Jennifer is replacing last season’s female judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj who failed to draw in big ratings as they bickered openly with each other, causing unwanted tension.

Idol comes back on the air in January.

Noticeably absent from Wednesday’s appearance was Jennifer’s beau of two years Casper Smart, who is usually by his girlfriend’s side. She was last seen with the backup dancer on Tuesday as they exited a dinner date at Craig’s in West Hollywood.

The two reportedly plan on spending Christmas together with her twins Max and Emme, aged five.

In January her trainer Tracy Anderson told HollywoodLife that the Puerto Rican – who had just finished a massive concert and came out with the action film Parker – works at it hard, and focuses a lot on her backside.

‘We wanted to design a workout to keep her sexy butt toned!’ Tracy said.
