LOS Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick is ending his podcast with LeBron James.

The 40-year-old launched Mind The Game alongside four-time NBA champion LeBron earlier this year.

Redick was appointed as Lakers chief on Monday following a lengthy search by the organization.

LeBron and his new coach discussed all things basketball on the popular pod, which boasted more than 650,000 subscribers on YouTube.

“For the time being, and hopefully it’s a very, very long time, I am excommunicated from the content space,” Redick said, via ESPN.

“So there will be no podcast. I’m done with podcasting for now.”

Redick, a former NBA star and ESPN analyst, debuted the pod with James in March.

He has penned a four-year deal with the Lakers, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Despite access to one of the all-time basketball greats, Redick has revealed he didn’t speak to LeBron about the role as speculation grew.

“He didn’t provide any advice,” Redick continued.

“LeBron and I did not talk about the Lakers job until Thursday afternoon about 30 minutes after I was offered the job.

“And that was very intentional on both our parts.”

The Lakers had initially coveted Dan Hurley, current coach of NCAA champions the UConn Huskies.

Hurley turned down a six-year, $70 million offer to remain with the Huskies and target a historic threepeat next season.

“During that whole [Hurley saga], at no point was my ego or feelings hurt or bruised in any way,” Redick added.

“Dan Hurley is a two-time national champion at UConn.

“I am a two-time 55 Swish League champion in the third- and fourth-grade division. Like, I understood, you know? I understood.”
