As an athlete, Deion Sanders has range. The Florida native is the only person to compete in both a Super Bowl and World Series, though these days he spends more time coaching than playing. In his personal life, Sanders has focused on taking care of his family – he shares five children (Deiondra and Deion Jr. from Carolyn Chambers and Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi from Pilar Biggers-Sanders) with his two ex-wives. He also was in a relationship with Tracey Edmunds for more than a decade, though that came to an end in 2023. Now that Coach has had time to adjust to the single life, people are wondering about Deion Sanders’ girlfriend– if he has a new one, that is.

Tracey Edmonds and Coach Go Their Separate Ways

When Edmonds confirmed her split from her fiancé last December (four years after their 2019 engagement), things seemed amicable. “We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts. respect for each other and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together,” the production company CEO wrote on Instagram. He showered her in praise in the comments, declaring, “You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless [you] with every endeavor and step [you] take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack!!!”

Edmonds shares two sons with producer Babyface; she released another statement as gossip blogs got hold of the information to clarify that she initiated the split to focus on her family. “It was my decision to end the relationship, despite any narratives being presented. I’ve chosen to prioritize myself and my family, moving forward toward a future where I am valued, treated with honesty, and free to embrace the happiness and respect I deserve,” she said. “I hate to have to respond to the media, but sometimes it’s necessary when falsehoods get out of control.” These comments instigated rumors of infidelity in their relationship, leaving social media sleuths to speculate who Deion Sanders’ girlfriend might be.

According to sources, the woman Coach could be spending time with in his next chapter is Qiana Aviles, a Puerto Rican model and businesswoman. The black-haired beauty has over 227K followers on Instagram thanks to her sexy style, confidence and boss moves across the beauty industry. After she posted an Instagram photo supporting Sanders’ football team in the fall of 2023, talk of a budding romance between her and the 56-year-old began brewing. However, there’s been no official confirmation just yet.

Who Is Qiana Aviles?

Despite her success now, Aviles had a tough time as a child, as she spoke about on the Growing Up Latina podcast. The multi-talent was born in Brooklyn, New York to a family who was on the run from the police. “My mother and I were on the run for seven years, but when they [the authorities] came to pick us up, I kid you not, it was like – it’s over. I’m happy,” she recalled of her exhausting childhood on the show. In 1998, Aviles was just a toddler when she was arrested alongside her mom. It’s unclear how long she spent in police custody, but the ambitious woman didn’t let the obstacles hold her back from pursuing an education in finance and working in real estate while building her personal brand.

Now, she’s believed to be in her late 20s with a resume more impressive than most women her age. Deion Sanders’ girlfriend (well, alleged girlfriend) opened a nail lounge in Washington Heights in 2010 and has a nail polish line called Q&A Lux Lacquer which earned her a profile story in the Associated Press. Aviles’ other establishments are located in Weehawken and Miami and she’s dabbling in the world of fashion with ONHER The Brand. Elsewhere, it seems the model and her mother are on good terms as they launched Vida Hair Growth together in 2015 with the help of Qiana’s brother, Shamel. Whether she’s Deion Sanders’ girlfriend or not, it’s obvious that Aviles is a boss babe with a lot going for her.
