LINKIN PARK Unveils Mysterious 100-Hour Countdown, Sparking Rumors Of New Vocalist

Linkin Park

LINKIN PARK has initiated a cryptic 100-hour countdown on its website and official social media platforms.

The same timer was also posted by the Instagram account of Welcome To Rockville, sparking rumors that some of the band’s surviving members might perform at the 2025 edition of festival, scheduled for May 15-18 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The countdown is set to conclude on Wednesday, August 28, at 11:00 a.m. PDT.

For some time, there had been whispers within the music industry about a potential reunion tour for LINKIN PARK. These rumors gained traction when Jay Gordon, the vocalist of ORGY, mentioned hearing about plans for the band to tour with a new female singer. However, Gordon later retracted his statement, stating that he had been misunderstood.

According to a report by Billboard this past April, booking agency WME has been fielding offers for a potential 2025 reunion tour, which may include performances at various festivals. Sources suggest that members such as Mike ShinodaBrad Delson, and Dave Farrell are involved in planning this venture.

The timing of this potential comeback coincides with LINKIN PARK‘s recent success on the Billboard charts, thanks to their greatest hits collection Papercuts, released on April 12th.

Regarding the choice of a female vocalist, it’s been clarified that EVANESCENCE‘s Amy Lee is not part of the alleged reunion, although she expressed willingness to join the band on a part-time basis if approached.

The last time classic members of LINKIN PARK performed together was on October 27th, 2017, during a tribute concert for Chester Bennington, who tragically passed away in July of the same year.
