Drummer Jason Bonham had to leave Sammy Hagar’s The Best of All Worlds tour due to an apparent family matter.The lineup, which also features Joe Satriani on guitar and Michael Anthony on bass, plays mostly Van Halen-oriented live sets.This Tuesday, August 27, they brought in Kenny Aronoff, one of the most prolific drummers today known for playing with the biggest names, ranging from classic rock to heavy metal.During the show, Hagar addressed the audience right before the band dived into “Eagles Fly,” dedicating the song “to the Bonham family in England.”


At the end of the show, he thanked Kenny Aronoff, who “saved the day.

 

“There’s some fan-filmed footage of the performance over at YouTube. The August 27 show took place over at Cincinnati, Ohio, at the city’s Riverbend Music Center.

 

According to the touring schedule, the band also played another show in the meantime in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Bridgestone Arena.
