Names like Tiger Woods and Scottie Scheffler were among participants at the 2024 Masters, which meant CBS reporter Amanda Balionis would also be on hand as well.
After she was shown on screen as CBS’ 19th hole reporter, Masters fans quickly took to social and pondered what had changed behind the scenes for Balionis:
Balionis and former North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner got married back in 2022. Balionis, a former top recruit out of Virginia, played collegiately at North Carolina.
The couple had previously gotten engaged in 2021.
Renner played in the National Football League from 2014 to 2016. He spent time on the practice squads of several franchises.

Amanda Balionis was not originally set to become involved in Golf.
The CBS Sports reporter turned Masters fan favorite did not set out to become a golf reporter when she began her career as a sports journalist. In fact, she wasn’t even the biggest fan of the sport growing up, even though her family was obsessed with it.
As a child, Balionis played in junior golf tournaments but would soon turn her attention to sports like volleyball and swimming. It wouldn’t take long for her to find her passion for Golf.
Once she graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in broadcast journalism, Amanda Balionis began her career as a high school sports reporter for Verizon Fios Channel 1 and then MSG Network, via Wikipedia.com.
