Amanda Balionis is not only a renowned golf reporter who grew up playing sports but also the wife of former NFL quarterback Bryn Renner.

CBS reporter Amanda Balionis, who is married to Bryn Renner, seems to have dropped her husband’s surname on social media, and hasn’t been seen with her wedding band on at recent golf events.

Since Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy made the surprise announcement that he was divorcing his wife, Erica Stoll, rumors have come out that he has a thing going with CBS reporter Amanda Balionis.

McIlroy and Balionis have been causing a stir on the PGA Tour and are the “talk of the links” after people noticed the closeness of their relationship.

Bryn Renner has not publicly stated a word, but because he is attached to Balionis, his name continues to appear in major headlines.

Bryn Renner is caught in the middle as speculations about a potential new romance between Rory McIlroy and Amanda Balionis, a sports journalist for CBS Sports, abound.

34-year-old Renner played quarterback in the NFL and coached quarterbacks at Florida International University, where the Panthers play in Conference USA, an FBS league.

Former NFL quarterback Bryn Renner may have been in the league at one point, but he never actually played in a regular-season NFL game.

Instead, he spent time on the practice or preseason squads of five different teams across three seasons.

From 2009 until 2013, Renner played quarterback for North Carolina before attempting to get into the NFL. After redshirting his rookie year and filling in as the backup in 2010, he was the Tar Heels’ regular starter for three seasons, via Wikipedia.

Before moving on to FIU, Bryn Renner had a brief tenure as head football coach at Austin Peay from 2016 to 2021.
