According to People , the song Used To Be Young ( Ngay Toi Con Tre ) released on August 25 is a milestone marking the maturity of the 30-year-old singer’s career. On social network X , the former Disney star said she has passed the “wild” period but is always proud of that “crazy” period. The chorus of Used To Be Young reads: “I know I used to be crazy. I know I used to be happy. You say I used to be wild. I say I used to be young.”

Miley spent 18 months recreating the life picture in the song. “Release of Used To Be Young makes me extremely happy. The song is finished but I believe the story in it will continue to be written every day,” she said. The singer then also posted a video series on TikTok called “Untold Stories”, with a message of healthy, positive living.

In May, Miley also confirmed her new lifestyle when she told British Vogue: “After turning 30, I no longer want to attract temporary attention. I used to do that just because I was trying to escape the huge shadow of the character Hannah Montana .”
