Justin Bieber reportedly is struggling to keep up with his wife Hailey Bieber’s expensive taste and it’s beginning to affect him.

The One Time singer is claimed to be “desperate” for money because of the model’s pricey purchases, which include riding in private jets and her second engagement ring, according to what a source told The Blast. Rumors of Justin’s money problems are beginning to surface as the married couple are expecting their first child together. The father-to-be further fueled speculation that he needed money when he performed at a pre-wedding event for billionaire Anant Ambani, who is the son of India’s wealthiest man, last month.

Although he was paid a whopping $10 million to perform, the amount of money wasn’t enough to explain why he took the gig given he’s estimated to be worth $300 million.

“Hailey is a seriously high spender. She has spent tens of millions on private jets to fly around the world, including once taking a plane just to get her nails done at a particular manicurist,” one source said.

Meanwhile, the other source accused Hailey of contributing to the downfall of Justin’s once superstar-level music career.

“He’s isolated from his friends and family. He’s miserable right now as Hailey has taken complete control over him. He has lost his identity, and creative drive and he is uninspired,” the source claimed.

The sources are comparing how Justin is now to the full-of-life upbeat pre-teen who took the entertainment industry by storm when he popped up in 2009 with his first hit One Time. Justin went on to have a very successful music career, winning two Grammys, 26 Billboard Music Awards, 23 Teen Choice Awards, and a series of other accolades.

Justin has slowed down over the years, not releasing an album since Justice, which came out in 2021. Additionally, he also hasn’t toured since 2022 – he ended his Justice Tour early because of a health scare. Justin has had some income coming in since 2022. In 2023, Justin sold the rights to his almost 300-song catalog to the music investment company Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million, per The Blast.

Some were surprised by Justin’s business move given that normally successful musicians sell their catalogs later in life.
