American singers Meghan Trainor and Tori Kelly faced off against each other during the episode on July 16, as host Steve Harvey led their teams through a series of survey questions in a bid to win money for charity.

One particular question left both participants and viewers equally baffled, as fans doubted the “ludicrous” survey results.

“Who is the greatest rapper of all time?” Steve asked Meghan and Tori’s husbands, Daryl Sabara and Andre Murillo, respectively.

Neither of their answers made it to the board after they predicted that J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar would rank on the list of top eight survey responses.

When Lil Wayne didn’t come up on the board either, Steve, 66, said, “Okay, y’all tripping now.”

The first correct guess came from Team Tori, when the Nobody Love singer’s friend Kayla Bannon uncovered Tupac Shakur as the second top answer on the board.

Ultimately, Snoop Dogg was revealed as the most popular answer, with Jay Z ranked last on the list. Other rappers who made the cut included Eminem, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, The Notorious Big, and 50 Cent.

The rankings caused a stir as Steve questioned why Jay Z wasn’t at the No. 1 position, adding, “We in Rhode Island again? Where we at?”

When Tori inaccurately guessed Nas, the host of the Family Feud spin-off suggested, “I think you’re thinking as a hip-hop head. I don’t think that’s who answered these questions.”

Celebrity Family Feud fans appeared to agree with Steve, with one person calling the list “the most criminal thing I’ve ever seen” in a comment posted on YouTube.

“It’s [sic] like they surveyed 100 people who have never listened to rap music and asked them to name the most famous rapper they know of,” another user wrote.

A third comment read, “It’s like they surveyed 100 people who have never listened to rap music and asked them to name the most famous rapper they know of.”

“Jay Z number 8, Snoop above Eminem,… which humans on this planet was this survey conducted?” another person wrote.

Others wondered why artists like Busta Rhymes, Rakim, Chuck D, RZA, and Ice Cube weren’t on the list.

“Never have I ever yelled so loud during a segment of Family Feud,” another comment summed up viewers’ frustration with the results of the survey.

“I watched this live,” a Celebrity Family Feud fan wrote. “When Kendrick wasn’t on the list I about fainted… but then no Nas than I new something was foul lmaoo dudes been going hard since the early 90s.”

Last Tuesday’s episode followed Megan Thee Stallion’s debut on Celebrity Family Feud, as the Mamushi hitmaker faced off against Ne-Yo during the season premiere.

She left Steve impressed after Megan accurately predicted one of the top answers to the prompt, “Name something you’ve done to your mate’s feet.”

Megan, who beat the Miss Independent singer to the buzzer, replied, “Massage!”

She let out a scream after it was revealed that her answer was one of the most popular responses, with 50 out of a total 100 respondents answering the survey question with some variation of “Rubbed ‘Em.”

“Her scream is so cute! & this hairrrr,” a fan wrote on X, praising Megan’s appearance on the show.

“She was having so much fun I love her,” another commented.
