Jennifer Lopez has banned questions about her husband Ben Affleck during her Atlas promotional appearances, amid ongoing rumors that their marriage is doomed.

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker, 54, and Netflix have alerted reporters covering Atlas events that questions about the Argo director, 51, are off-limits, as per TMZ.

According to the publication the media were also informed that Lopez would only participate in group interviews with her co-stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown.

The strategy worked during the Los Angeles and Mexico City premieres on Monday and Tuesday. However, during a press conference in Mexico on Wednesday, a reporter asked the singer point blank about the split rumors.

In a now-viral video, a male reporter shocked the crowd when he asked Lopez to confirm if the ‘Ben Affleck rumors’ were ‘real’, as the pair have been ‘living separately’ after Ben moved out of their $60 million L.A. home ‘several weeks ago’, as per Us Weekly.

However the singer and actress did not attempt to deny rumors her fourth marriage is on the rocks.

The audience applauded J.Lo for how she handed the situation while one of the panelists – her co-star Simu – warned other reporters to steer clear of that line of questioning.

‘Don’t come in here with that energy, please’ the 35-year-old Canadian actor said.

At another point during the presentation Simu chimed in to defend J-Lo once more as he said: ‘If I could just end on one thing.

‘Jen is a producer on this movie and the reason why I’m here and the reason why Sterling was in this beautiful movie was because Jen cares. Jen cares about things like representation and diversity — and she’s a boss!’

While the Hustlers star is in Mexico to promote her new film, Affleck was pictured in Los Angeles looking jovial as he spent time with his 12-year-old son Samuel.

The Argo actor cracked a rare smile, despite the marriage speculation, as he strolled with the son he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.

The former pair also share Fin, 15, and Violet, 18. Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 until 2018.

That same day he was also seen puffing a cigarette while driving his matte gray BMW as he arrived to his rental home on Wednesday.

The Good Will Hunting actor – whose friend Jason Mewes recently weighed in on the split rumors – later ordered a pizza delivery.

Lopez has been divorced three times. The singer’s first marriage was to Cuban actor Ojani Noa, 49, in 1997. It only lasted 11 months.

Lopez welcomed her twins Max and Emme, 16, during her 10-year marriage to Latin hitmaker Marc Anthony, 55.

Lopez arrived in Mexico on Tuesday as part of the ongoing promo trail for Netflix’s Atlas, which hits theaters Friday, May 24.

Despite the Q&A debacle, the mother-of-two appeared unshaken by the speculation around her relationship with Affleck as she posed for photographers on Wednesday.

She put on a dazzling display in a sheer jumpsuit after recently sharing that she is the ‘thinnest’ she’s ever been.
