Caitlin Clark has officially gotten to the incredibly ridiculous part of being famous.

Days after Clark led her Iowa Hawkeyes past the LSU Tigers in the Elite 8 inside MVP Arena in Albany, New York, a sports memorabilia company is attempting to make some money off of her in a weird way.

The Realest is currently auctioning Big Ten items and that also includes chairs that Caitlin Clark sat on during the NCAA conference tournament.

The items have been labeled as “Iowa WBB #22.” It should be noted that the Illinois men’s basketball team also used these same chairs during their Big Ten Tournament final win over Wisconsin on March 17.

Former ESPN reporter Darren Rovell took to X and posted about it on Wednesday. His tweet must’ve found the right audience because soon the bidding climbed from $156 to $246.

An authenticator for the sports memorabilia company was actually at the game and monitored what chairs Caitlin Clark sat on and noted the time on the clock as well.

Each of the auctions has a time stamp as one chair was before the game and the second one was noted with 1:27 minutes left in the second quarter of Iowa’s win over Nebraska.

Both auctions are said to end on Sunday at 10 p.m.

Wherever Caitlin Clark goes, a sellout is sure to happen and people will tune in to watch her. Clark and Iowa are drawing sold-out crowds and big ratings, even on the road.

As she continues to advance in the tournament, the hype is only getting bigger and although prices are increasing, people are showing a willingness to pay it just to see her.

Clark is a certified superstar and easily the next big thing the WNBA has ever seen.
