BREAKING: Man Arrested & Charged With Break-In At Michael Jordan’s Home

Police arrested and charged a man after receiving a burglary in progress call at Michael Jordan’s seven-acre estate in Highland Park Tuesday.

According to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner, police responded to an in-progress burglary at Jordan’s house in Illinois. Officers arrested Raiden K. Hagedorn of Mundelein and charged him with misdemeanor counts of criminal trespassing and property damage.

Hagedorn would be released by Highland Park Police Department on a recognizance bond. His court hearing is scheduled for April 20.

The seven-acre home has been on the market since 2012. Currently listed for sale at $14.855 million.



It is currently unknown if Jordan or anybody had been in the house at the time.

Last month, Jordan was said to be engaged in serious talks to sell a majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets. If a sale is completed, Jordan is expected to remain with a minority stake in the franchise.



The six-time NBA champion and five-time MVP is considered by many to be the greatest player in the history of the game and has been the league’s only Black majority owner. Selling a majority share of the Hornets would mark the end of Jordan’s 13-year run as owner. He paid $275 million for a majority stake in the franchise in 2010.

Wojnarowski didn’t hold back in response to accusations of nepotism around Bronny.

“I don’t want to hear these charges—people talking about nepotism. The NBA is full of nepotism: the ownership level, front offices, coaching. I don’t want to hear it all of a sudden because Bronny James’ father plays for the Lakers. It is rampant in this league,” he said.



Bronny was expected to follow in his father’s footsteps from a young age. Despite his skill, Bronny has faced accusations of nepotism, particularly since his days at USC. Critics argue that his father’s influence has given him undue advantages.



Nevertheless, as a player, he has shown considerable promise and skill on the court, earning his spot in the NBA through hard work and dedication. Joining the Lakers allows him to continue his development and provides the unique opportunity to play alongside his father
