Is Imu Searching for Vivi Cecause of Her Terrifying Control Over the Ancient Weapon, Uranus?

The Ancient Weapons have been categorized as weapons of mass destruction. The World Government blew up Lulusia with Uranus and Pluton is said to have enough power to blow up an entire island in a single shot.

But what if one old character from One Piece can control one of the Ancient Weapons to aid Luffy?

Vivi Might Be Able to Control Uranus in One Piece

Uranus is the Ancient Weapon that still needs clarification in One Piece. While its powers have already been exhibited, readers are yet to know it completely. York stole a piece of the Mother Flame and handed it over to the World Government which used it to fuel Uranus. This, in turn, led to the destruction of Lulusia.

The Uranus is most likely in the possession of Imu, who is seen obsessing over Lily, the queen of the Arabasta Kingdom during the Void Century. She is the predecessor of Vivi, the current princess of Arabasta. At the same time, Imu is on the hunt for Vivi.

So what does the all-powerful antagonist of One Piece need Vivi for? She must be in control of something that Imu fears, or she could be a force to be reckoned with. But what could a princess with no powers other than bravery possess that would alter the fate of Imu’s plans? The answers might lie in her ancestry.

While Lily is not alive anymore, Imu seems clearly obsessed with her. Is it because she knew him from the Void Century? Or is it because he needs her powers? The queen could be the one who can control Uranus. And in her absence, Uranus needed the Mother Flame.
Vivi, on the other hand, is from the same bloodline but is alive and kicking. She might also have control over Uranus. This could be why Imu is trying to find her as soon as possible. Eliminating Vivi means getting rid of a potential obstacle. Alternatively, if he gains control over her, he could use Uranus whenever he wishes.

Another theory suggests that Imu has taken over Lily’s body and that is how he has survived for such a long time. If he has taken a different host, it might need changing. Human bodies are not meant to last for centuries.

If he has indeed taken Lily’s body, he might need a change of host soon, leading him to Vivi. Vivi is Lily’s descendant, and her body could be the perfect match. So Imu might be planning on taking over Vivi’s body next since he has to survive.

Imu’s Devil Fruit has been debated over and over again. But what if it grants immortality at the cost of another’s life? When Queen Lily went missing, was it because Imu harvested her body for his gains?

All of these theories will be proved only once Eiichiro Oda clarifies the plot even more.
