Spoiler Alert!
One Piece Chapter 1119

The Straw Hat Pirates are slowly making some progress in their battle against the Five Elders on Egghead Island in One Piece. The latest chapter has pointed out that Luffy might have taken care of one of the Five Elders, and the rest are also being dealt with. However, they are still in desperate need of a power-up, as almost every crew member is tired.

Nonetheless, One Piece chapter 1119 might have hinted at one of the Straw Hat crew members finally awakening Haki. This is surely a massive boost to the overall strength of the crew, which has recently earned the title of Emperor of the Sea. The character is none other than Franky, the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Although it has not been officially confirmed whether Franky is able to use Haki or not, if the Cyborg is able to use Haki techniques, he might very well change the course of the One Piece narrative and become one of the strongest helping hands of the crew.

One Piece Chapter Hints at Franky Using Haki

Chapter 1119 of Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus begins with the characters on Egghead Island getting shocked after seeing two Nika transformations. One of them is Luffy, and the other is Bonney, who is using her Distorted Future. However, their excitement lasts only a few seconds as Saint Marcus launches an attack on the crew.

However, Luffy jumps in between them and transforms into a balloon to stop his attack. As the chapter progresses, Luffy reveals to his allies that no attack would be able to harm the Gorosei, which is why they have to send him flying. Thus, he asks them to launch their strongest attack on Luffy so that he can use his body’s elasticity to propel Marcus far away.

Sanji, Franky, and Bonney use their individual attacks and aim them toward Luffy. As soon as Luffy feels the strength of the attack, he shouts in pain and confirms that these attacks are infused with Haki. Although it is known that both Sanji and Bonney can use Haki, Luffy’s words might have confirmed that Franky can use Haki too.

Franky Using Haki Can Be a Big Advantage for the Straw Hat Pirates

If Franky has somehow unlocked Haki and can use it in his attacks, it would be a big positive for the Straw Hat Pirates in their future endeavors in One Piece. Franky is a cyborg, and most of his body is augmented with technology. He can change the mechanics of his body according to the battle and use it in the best possible way.

If he has unlocked Haki, he would be able to infuse his Haki, potentially armor Haki with his enhanced body parts, and increase their strength to another level. He would be able to use his Haki techniques with his technology and would become the ultimate Cyborg. He would be the fifth Straw Hat member to use Haki techniques after Usopp and Jinbei.

The Egghead Island arc would be the perfect narrative for Franky to unlock Haki, as he has been a big fan of Dr. Vegapunk and his inventions. He certainly deserves a boost that would not only help him but the crew too. It would make their upcoming adventures to find the One Piece treasure a little easier.
