They are modified humans designed to replace the seven Warlords of the Sea, and because of this, the Seraphim are significant clones of every Warlord in One Piece. They are considered the ultimate weapon of destruction.

However, these Seraphim may have a weakness that was probably introduced by Dr. Vegapunk to turn the tide against the World Government in One Piece. This weakness could very well make Seraphim unstable for the World Government to control, just like the original Warlords of the Sea.

The Yonko-Level Strength of the Seraphim

The Seraphim made their first appearance when the Marines decided to disband the Warlords and capture every one of them, starting with Boa Hancock. These Seraphim shocked the entire One Piece universe because of the dangerous strength they possessed. They not only looked like the Warlords; they even inherited their greatest strengths.

On top of that, they were augmented with the lineage factor from the Lunarian tribe (King) and had green blood in their veins that gave them the power of Paramecia-type Devil Fruits. Many believed that because Blackbeard is a Yonko, he would have an advantage over the Seraphim. But the human weapon not only gave a hard time to Blackbeard but also to his crewmates. This in itself proves the unparalleled strength of one of the strongest weapons introduced in the One Piece narrative.

The Only Weakness of the Seraphim

While the Seraphim are very strong, they do have one weakness. This weakness emerges from their lineage factor, augmented by the Warlords. The Seraphim have not only adapted the abilities of the Warlords but also their personalities. This was proved by a recent interaction between Hancock’s Seraphim S-Snake and Luffy.

Just like Hancock, S-Snake’s beauty also had no effect on Luffy, and this led to Seraphim getting flustered and obeying everything that Luffy asked her to do. Thus, there is a chance that their personalities could take over the command that has been given to them, which could in a way prove dangerous to the World Government.

The main reason behind disbanding the Warlords was the fact that they were getting difficult for the World Government to control. If the Seraphim truly have the personalities of the Warlords, they can also turn the tide on the World Government in One Piece and take matters into their own hands, and act according to how they see fit, or how the Warlords would have acted.
