This Morning fans were left feeling sick and forced to switch off on Wednesday’s episode.

During the latest instalment, hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard spoke to guest, Weston Rowe, live from his home in America and he spoke about his raw meat diet, where he spends over $9,000 a year. Weston was encouraged to eat raw meat due to wanting a healthier diet and at first eating raw meat left him gagging before he got used to the taste.

Despite doctors’ warnings, Weston claimed he’s ate hundreds of raw chickens over the years and has never once had salmonella poisoning. As part of the interview, Weston decided to tuck into some raw chicken leg live on air, commenting that it was ‘squishy’ and ‘slimy’, before eating some raw liver, which left viewers at home sickened and switching off.

Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “#ThisMorning I’ve had to turn over, this man eating raw chicken almost made me throw up. It was disgusting. I don’t know who even thought of having this segment. So wrong!”, a different account put: “Oh I think I’m gonna be sick!!

#thismorning”, another wrote: “Stop with the raw meat bloke it’s knocking me sick #ThisMorning”, a different account put: “Urgh what im i watching #thismorning” with a sick emoji, another said: “Sorry but this is not necessary to see that!!!! #thismorning” while a different account added: “Stop with the raw meat bloke it’s knocking me sick #ThisMorning.”

It comes as Weston featured on Friday’s episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, where the celebrities had to watch My Strange Addiction, where Weston explained his raw meat diet. Weston said on the show: “I’m addicted to eating raw meat. The real game changer is when people find out that I’m eating raw chicken”, adding: “In four years I’ve eaten about 100 raw chickens and I’ve never been sick. I actually also eat raw internal organs.”

Watching the show with his mum, Linda, Rylan Clark quipped: “How the f**k is that bloke sniffing a chicken’s a*****e and eating raw chicken…” and it was his next four-word remark that left viewers in hysterics as he added: “And I’m still single!”

As the show continued and viewers saw Weston eat his raw meat, it was too much for Rylan as he had to walk away as it made him feel sick. As he started coughing, Rylan’s laughing mum said: “Go out, go out as you’re going to be sick, go out there!” to which Rylan walked off, saying: “I can’t watch it! Just give me a minute, I need to walk away!”
