LOVE Island pin-up Lucinda Strafford is embroiled in a love triangle with her new fella accused of secretly wooing his ex.

The reality star began dating chart-topping DJ Nathan Dawe as he was begging his former lover to accompany him on a US jaunt.

And sultry Georgia Mercer, 26, claimed her ex was desperate for them to hook up despite him wooing rival Lucinda.

Stunning Georgia, a model and influencer, told The Sun yesterday: “I was with Nathan for three and a half years. We had a bad break up, but still managed to be friends.

“It was a ‘right person, wrong time’ vibe. But we kept in touch and a couple of weeks before he went public with Lucinda he was sending me his new songs which he said were all about me.

“He’d also repeatedly ask about meeting up with me, wanting to know if I was still proud of him. He’d randomly message me, trying to start a conversation; weird stuff about wanting a time machine.

“He’d comment on my body and how it has changed now I go to the gym.

“He was going to LA and asked me if I wanted to come with him. It was very flattering.

“Then he went public with Lucinda. It was an ‘Oh My God!’ moment.

“If he’s happy with Lucinda then fine but how can he be. Why did he want to be back with me.”

Georgia and Nathan met in Zante when he was DJing at a boat party.

He tracked her down on social media and they began dating.

Despite her living in Essex and him buying a house in Burton-on-Trent, Staffs., they saw each other every weekend.

Georgia, who has worked for Pretty Little Thing, Fashion Nova, I Saw It First, Missy Empire, and Rebellious Fashion said: “I ended things with him a couple of years ago but we were regularly in touch and neither of us saw anyone else. It always felt like we could be back on. Now he’s seeing Lucinda and it’s a shock.”

She said:  “We spoke of going for dinner and meeting up. He couldn’t have been that bothered about making things work with me. But it’s weird how we spoke and kept in touch so much; sometimes friendly, sometimes more than friendly.

“He must have been speaking to Lucinda when he asked me to go to America with him. Maybe Lucinda went instead. I wonder if she knows he still speaks to his ex.”

The revelation came as Lucinda’s ex took a series of swipes at her after she coupled up with DJ Nathan, who has worked with KSI, Little Mix, Anne-Marie, Joel Corry and Ella Henderson.

Lucinda, 24, met New Zealand native Zac Nunns last year when she competed on Love Island Australia.

He took to social media in the wake of his former partner’s new relationship.

He invited fans to pose questions to him, and one fan took the opportunity to write: “Geez some people move on fast. Hope you’re doing okay!”

Later he took a selfie from the studio of his podcast – The Trent And Zac Show – as he hinted he will be more open with the behind the scenes gossip.

In 2023, Lucinda entered the Love Island Australia villa on day nine, and instantly caught the eye of Zac.

In the December final, they ended up finishing as the runners up on the Aussie instalment of the hit dating show.

They took their partnership up a notch as he flew over to join the personality in the UK before Christmas.

In December Lucinda spoke to The Sun about her fledgling romance as she explained: “We’re doing quite well at the moment, I’m surprised at how well I did in there. I was definitely surprised about the connection I had with Zac – I thought I was going to go in there and not meet anyone, so the fact that I found a genuine connection with a guy was kind of funny, but mainly because he was playing hard to get and I love that.”

Lucinda shot to fame in 2021 on the seventh series of Love Island. The beauty was linked to Brad McClelland and Aaron Francis during her stint in the villa.

The pin-up dated troubled footballer Aaron Connolly for years. During their turbulent relations cops were called to his mansion in 2022 after a bust-up.
