This Morning star Rochelle Humes jokingly screamed at producers to ‘get the camera off her’ during a cooking segment gone wrong on Wednesday.

The presenter and former Saturdays singer, 35, found herself in a sticky situation while attempting to pipe meringue on the programme.

She had been presenting alongside Dermot O’Leary, with TV chef Damiano Carrara giving the duo a masterclass in how to make a delicious raspberry pavlova for the summer.

Dermot gushed that it’s one of his ‘favourite’ desserts before the pair got stuck in to give the piping a go themselves.

‘We’re all going to do it together okay,’ Damiano insisted, ‘we’re going to pipe like this and down,’ he added as he demonstrated.

‘Oh, it’s so much fun Damiano,’ Dermot remarked as he got the hang of things quickly, when Rochelle suddenly let out a scream.

Concerned, Dermot asked: ‘You alright there, Roch?’ to which she insisted: ‘Yeah, yeah we’re good. We got this. Sorry guys’.

Glancing over at her co-host’s creation, who had completed the task almost perfectly, Rochelle gushed: ‘Oh my God Dermot,’ with the TV chef adding: ‘Dermot is good’.

‘I know, I’ve just realised,’ admitted Rochelle, ‘I didn’t know they had to be so close together. I can add them. Oh gosh guys.’

Seemingly getting frustrated, she instructed: ‘Nobody look at mine seriously. I’ve just realised I didn’t twist it. I’ve fumbled the bag here guys.’

She went on to address the production crew directly and sternly said: ‘Director Barry I can hear you saying look at Rochelle – no. Get the camera off of Rochelle’s. She does not need a close up out here.’

The chef explained that it was the way she handling the bag that was her downfall and decided to help her out, remarking: ‘I think it is the way you’re holding it, you go like this.’

‘I think it’s because I’m left-handed,’ argued the former singer, before finally completing her dessert.

The cooking fail comes just as Rochelle and Dermot revealed who will be replacing them to present the breakfast programme on Friday.

The duo told viewers that it was their last day presenting the show together this summer and fans will instead be treated to Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle tomorrow.

Dermot gushed: ‘It’s my last show me and you, Josie and Craig in tomorrow,’ as the pair went in for a hug.

He added: ‘Thank you, thanks for a lovely half a week,’ with Rochelle agreeing: ‘This is has been so nice, a lovely few days.’

But those who enjoy watching Dermot on their screens are in luck as he’s back presenting with Alison Hammond in early September, on the ‘first Friday’.

Rochelle added: ‘I’m taking the kids away for a bit and then I’m back here in a couple of weeks with Joel Dommett.’

It comes after permanent hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard announced they would be departing This Morning for several weeks as they enjoy a summer holiday.

The new hosts, who joined the ITV daytime show in March and are said to be receiving an annual salary of £555,000, are currently taking a seven-week break.
