Love Island will air drama on Wednesday night, as some of the girls turn on each other over Joey Essex as things get awkward.

Just a day on from Joey stealing Samantha Kenny from Sam Taylor, leading to him being dumped from the villa, there’s more chaos on the way. A preview for Wednesday’s visit to the villa shows Harriett Blackmore trying to impress Joey despite him picking someone else.

Keen to steal him, she asks him for a chat and takes him to the Hideaway for some alone time. Viewers know this is the private room where Islanders often get cosy away from their co-stars.

Harriett takes Joey there, while making it clear to him she’s interested in him. She then performs a dance for him at Joey’s request, upping the flirting as Samantha remains in the villa wondering what is going on.

It’s clear Samantha isn’t happy, as she’s seen telling two of her fellow Islanders that Harriett revealed she was going for a chat with Joey in the Hideaway. While Joey appears to weigh up his options, a furious Samantha says Harriett is “spiteful”.

Harriett tells Joey: “I do fancy you. I think I have made that a bit obvious now.” Samantha then says back in the villa: “It’s spiteful isn’t it. It’s petty.”

Nicole Samuel appears mortified by what she’s heard, and pulls a face of disgust. She tells Samantha of Harriett: “I think that’s massively out of order.” Viewers will have to tune in on Wednesday night to see what the pair have to say for themselves.

It could be the first big villa drama on the show just days into the series kicking off. It comes hours after Sam was booted out of the villa in brutal fashion.

Joey had to decide which girl he wanted to pair up with. He decided the girl he wanted to couple up with was Samantha, meaning her partner Sam was now single.

Sam already knew from earlier on that whoever was left single would be dumped. He then received a text message confirming this was the case, with him told to pack his bags and leave immediately.

As he said his goodbyes, there were tears in the villa as Sam told his new pals he’d see them all again soon. He told them all to crack on and have fun, before heading out of the villa.
