Lord of The Dance star Michael Flatley, 65, was addressing his recent cancer diagnosis and had told Susanna and co-star Martin Lewis, 52, he is now in remission.

He credited his “positive mental attitude” for getting him through his ordeal as he told how: “I am feeling pretty good.”

Yet talk turned to a fire at his £25million Cork home in 2016 and he told Good Morning Britain how his health had never been the same since.

Michael, who performed on Eurovision back in 1994, said: “Since the fire my health has deteriorated.

“I have asthma.

“I have never had asthma in my life!”

He then claimed how the team he enlisted to complete the renovation “didn’t do the job property” before he let out the name of the construction company and the person in charge.

Fearing legal implications, Susanna was quick to jump in.

She promptly interjected and put her hand out to halt the chat.

She told the dancer: “Oh we shouldn’t be naming the company and individuals, because we don’t know the details.”

Michael then apologised before talking about his new dance show.

CASTLE CRISIS

He has previously aired claims about his castle giving him cancer.

He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease back in 2022 but, following successful surgery, all is well.

Yet amid fighting the illness he was in the midst of a legal battle too.

In court documents, he claimed there are unsafe levels of toxic chemical residue at the Castlehyde manor.

This, he alleges, includes chemicals in the wall surfaces in the pool, spa and cinema areas.

Michael and his family moved out of the incredible 18th Century estate in 2016 and, at the time, he again claimed his health was impacted when they moved back in.

Last year, he told the Mail: “I was one of the fittest people in Ireland.

“But when we moved back in I never felt right, and all of a sudden I got cancer.

“All of a sudden I’ve developed asthma too. How did this happen?

“We must have been breathing in toxins.

“We were told to leave immediately and we’ve been living in hotels ever since.”

Last year, the dancer also faced cash demands of £1.8million due to the collapse of his theatre business.

More than £350,000 of it is owed to HMRC in unpaid taxes, a report by finance experts released in 2023 said.
