As the second week of Love Island draws to a close viewers have been treated to another week of messy relationships and drama fuelled love triangles.

However Harriett Blackmore is failing to win the public over as fans exclaimed that they ‘can’t stand’ the dance teacher from Brighton.

Despite it being early days, Harriett has already found herself in two love triangles this series with both Nicole and Ciaran, and most recently Jess and Ronnie.

During Thursday’s recoupling Harriett picked Ronnie, after Jess chose to leave Ronnie for Sean as she refused to compete with another woman for his attention.

And fans didn’t hold back their strong opinions of the Brighton girl as they took to Twitter exclaiming: ‘i rlly can not stand this harriet girl on love island’.

On Wednesday night, Harriett found herself in one of the three couples with the least number of votes from the public, however the islanders chose not to send her home.

One fan penned: ‘I’m sorry????? They kept Harriet in and let Munveer go????’

Elsewhere Harriett was seen rolling her eyes on Thursday after Jess chose not to couple up with Ronnie as she explained: ‘An ultimatum was given and I’ve not received an answer on that. Obviously, while he’s still exploring other connections, I am not being made to feel second-best.’

Noticing Harriett’s moody expression, fans wrote: ‘sorry, i’m catching up from ln but why is harriet rolling her eyes & being so bitter that jess chose sean???? you got what you want now girly, or is it because you’re not upsetting anyone anymore? giving mean girl & it’s sly ???’

Earlier in the episode, Nicole and Samantha told Jess they thing Ronnie would leave Harriett for another bombshell, but he wouldn’t do that to Jess.

Defending Harriett they added: ‘What Nicole and Samantha said about Harriet was out of order’
