LOVE Island fans have been left convinced they know the ‘real reason’ why bombshell Lolly opted to pick Konnor during the latest recoupling.

The air hostess stormed the ITV2 villa last night and instantly found herself on three different dates in the Hideaway.

She enjoyed time with Joey Essex, Konnor and Ciaran before admitting she was open to getting to know every single boy and that she didn’t have a type.

Within 24 hours of her shock villa arrival, the Islanders were hit with news that a re-coupling ceremony was looming and that as the newbie to the show Lolly would have the first pick when it came to all of the boys.

Having kept her cards close to her chest, there was speculation that she may opt to find love with Joey after their steamy date.

Lolly also admitted she thought Joey was “missing something” with his current partner Jessy.

However, she opted to pick single lad Konnor when it came to decision time.

Standing around the firepit, Lolly said in front of the group: “Since coming into the villa, in such a short space of time this boy has made me feel nothing but welcome.

“I feel like he has got such a great energy, his aura, he’s bubbly, he’s smiley and we’ve been having some great chats that I’d love to continue.

“It is early days and I appreciate that we are still both getting to know each other but it would be nice to couple up and get to know each other a little bit more.”

As Lolly confirmed that it would by hunky Konnor that she’d be picking, he was left beaming with happiness as the pair shared a close hug with one another.

However, some fans have already had their say on why they really think Lolly opted to go for him.

As the only single boy with no other connection, fans have speculated that Lolly has taken the “easy” way out by refusing to stir up trouble in the Majorcan compound and choose the single boy for a smooth journey.

Speculating at her move online, one Love Island viewer said: “Lolly went with the safe option so what’s the point of this recoupling.”

Another person added: “Lolly just played safe. He is not her guy.”

As a third penned: “Lolly went for the SAFE option at the recoupling.”

Before she touched down in the villa, Lolly had already rustled up excitement among fans thanks to her A-list friendships and connections.

A source close to her said: “She works in the long haul first class cabin so has met loads of celebs – she says that Margot Robbie, Renee Zellweger and Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix are her favourite people she’s ever had on the plane.

“She said they were all so sweet and down to earth.”

Before going into the Love Island villa, Lolly told ITV: “I feel like Love Island is my last resort at this point.

“It’s something I’ve thought about for a while as I’ve just turned 30 and been single a long time, so it’s time to find a husband.

“I don’t want a boyfriend, I want to move on with my life and settle down with the right guy.”
