While many were thrilled to see new faces joining the show, but some raised concerns about Chris being back on-screen.

Chris appeared on season five in 2019 as well as this year’s All Stars series, but proved to be a controversial face the second time around following an argument with love interest Arabella Chi.

One fan said: “I’m disappointed to see Chris there after his behaviour on the recent series.”

Another added: “I always loved Chris until the way he behaved to Arabella ( scary ).”

Love Island feud reignites as show legend takes brutal swipe at his villa rival in foul-mouthed rant

Chris coupled up with a number of girls during his stint in the villa, including Demi Jones, Arabella Chi and Joanna Chimonides.

The tatted hunk seemed to be going from strength to strength with model Arabella, and they even enjoyed a romantic date together.

However things took a bad turn when Chris took an interest in Sophie Piper and viewers later demanded that producers kick him out after he rowed with Arabella about it.

However, Chris has been backed by Love Island bosses who say he has “amazing chemistry” with the other presenters.

Maya Jama, as always, will be hosting the main show and leading proceedings on Aftersun every Sunday night as they recap the week’s events.

A source told The Sun said: “Chris is Love Island royalty and bosses were thrilled to add him to the presenting line-up for The Morning After podcast, as well as the regular weekly Aftersun panel.

“The four of them make a great team and they have amazing chemistry.”
