Ant McPartlin made a savage jibe at Simon Cowell during tonight’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent.

Ant and his co-host Dec Donnelly were introducing musician Trixy onto the stage when they discussed what he had done during his audition. In his audition, Trixy had managed to magic Simon Cowell’s old car back to the theatre, leaving the judge stunned.

When they discussed the previous audition, Ant joked that “a lot of work” had been done between back then and now, before Dec added that it was the car they were talking about and not Simon, leaving the judges and audience laughing.

Simon had been rumoured to have had cosmetic surgery in the past, but he previously told The Mirror that he has never had a facelift despite constant jibes about his appearance by fans and Ant and Dec alike.

Speaking to us last year, he said: “I think it’s hysterical. I mean, it just makes me laugh. I haven’t had a facelift or anything. I’ve had a bit of Botox or whatever, but nothing drastic. So when I hear about this stuff, honestly it does make me laugh.”

The music mogul had previously admitted to having Botox and going “a bit too far”.

“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all. Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero,” he added.

Back in 2008, he revealed that Botox was like brushing your teeth. He explained in a previous interview about his opinion on Botox: “To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year – who cares?”

Simon says his transformation is down to changing his diet. He previously said: “There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tons of water.”
