Ant McPartlin has been pictured for the first time since becoming a dad.

The Geordie star, 48, and his wife, Anne-Marie Corbett welcomed son, Wilder, into the world last week. After being inundated with well wishes from his famous friends, Ant has been in a baby bubble with his new family. However, he’s been spotted out and about near his London home today where he was seen taking his dogs for a walk in the sunshine.

Wilder’s arrival on Tuesday, however he kept any tired eyes under wraps, wearing a pair of designer shades. The star also took a puff on his vape as he relaxed in the sun.

The new dad had a smile a mile wide

After deciding not to publicly announce Anne-Marie’s pregnancy, Ant and his wife, who is the presenter’s former PA, announced their joyful baby news on Instagram on Tuesday with a sweet black and white photo.

Alongside the snap of Ant holding their newborn son to his chest, the BAFTA winning host captioned the post: “Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess.”

As his followers and celebrity pals shared messages of congratulations for the happy couple, others reacted to Ant’s never-seen-before tattoo on his shoulder. As depicted in the reveal photo, he has a large family tree illustration and hidden within the branches are six names – Amzie,

Daisy, Poppy, Bumble, Milo and Hurley.The tattoo holds great sentimental value to Ant, as they are the names of his nearest and dearest step-children and his beloved dogs.

The star got some fresh air and sunshine after being on daddy duty with little Wilder

Initially, fans thought Ant had forgotten to include his beloved pooch Hurley, who is shares with his ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong, in his tattoo. However, taking to Instagram, clearing up the misunderstanding, Ant said: “Hey all, I just wanted to say thank You so much for the kind messages of love and well wishes for our baby Wilder. He’s doing great. Glad you loved the tattoo as well. For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree..he was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks A.”

The Geordie TV presenter refers to his wife Anne-Marie as Amzie, and revealed the nickname publicly when they announced their engagement. When he first started dating his former PA in 2018, Ant became a stepdad to her two daughters from her previous marriage, Daisy and Poppy.

The other two names of course, belong to their adorable pooches. The telly favourite splashed out £2,000 on the two Maltipoo puppies in 2019 and they soon became very much a part of the family.
