But eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted something very different about the Duchess of Sussex’s locks recently.

According to Pop Sugar, 37-year-old Meghan has had a secret haircut.
And while having a quick chop is nothing momentous, apparently there’s a very significant reason why Meghan has had a tiny trim in the middle of her very busy November schedule.
It’s a trick she’s said to have picked up from Princess Diana – and something sister-in-law Kate Middleton follows, too.
According to reports, making very tiny gradual changes (such as having an almost unnoticeable hair trim) as opposed to going from Rapunzel locks to a pixie cut, is done on purpose so not to distract from the work of the royal family.

For example, if Meghan had arrived at Westminster Abbey last weekend – for a service to mark the Centenary of the Armistice – debuting a bob it could have diverted attention from a very important cause.

It’s reportedly a trick Princess Diana used to follow, too.
According to her personal hairdresser of 12 years, Richard Dalton, Diana’s hair had to be cut by very tiny amounts on a regular basis.
“Whatever I did to her hair became front page news,” he told Town & Country.
“We had to be very careful. We had to do it one-fourth of an inch at a time over several weeks.”
