Meghan Markle is ‘being laughed out of Hollywood’ by A-listers, according to a source, which comes as the Duchess of Sussex prepares to launch her new brand and Netflix show

According to reports, Meghan Markle is “being laughed out of Hollywood” by A-listers.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, along with her husband Prince Harry, has embarked on a rebrand in recent months. Back in March, Meghan even unveiled American Riviera Orchard, her new lifestyle brand.

But according to reports, ahead of the hard launch of her brand, the Sussexes’ two new Netflix shows, and Meghan’s new partnership with Lemonada, she is being seen as “greedy”. She is also viewed as a “total joke” in Hollywood, as per a source.

According to In Touch, Meghan is scrambling after her podcast with Lemonada was pushed back. The partnership, which was announced back in February, will not be fully in motion until next year, it has been reported.

Bosses at the company are reported to have put the project on pause for fear that the upcoming launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, would take attention away from her audio endeavors.

“Meghan gets greedy,” a source told the magazine, adding: “She wants everything all at once, and it’s backfiring on her again. She’s become a total joke and is overplaying her hand.”

Not only are Lemonada concerned that Meghan’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard, might take the limelight away from her podcast project, but her new Netflix show is also a worry.

Meghan will serve as executive producer of her new show which is intended to “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship”, with Lemonada worried that this show will divert attention away from her audio project with the company.

Speaking to the magazine, the source said: “That clearly didn’t go down well with Lemonada. They surely expected to be Meghan’s priority project, but she must have decided she had bigger fish to fry with Netflix.”

The source then went on to add that Meghan needs to see some success with either her brand or Netflix projects, but added: “Almost everything they’ve tried has ended in disaster,”

Meanwhile, another source told the outlet: “Hollywood is glam and glitz on the outside, but the real stars have worked hard for their success — and you get the impression hard work isn’t really Meghan’s thing.

“Now, after all her failures, those A-listers — and the royals — are laughing at her!”
