Conor McGregor Clears Himself From Accusations of Making Anthony Joshua Taste His Liquor – “I Gave Him One”

Conor McGregor never fails to make it into the headlines, even outside the octagon. The Irish superstar, who owns multiple business ventures, including Forged Irish Stout, is known for consistently promoting his brands. However, recently, he marked the first anniversary of his viral moment with boxing star Anthony Joshua, where he offered the latter his Forged Irish Stout. However, the ‘Notorious’ has recently clarified the situation surrounding this event.

McGregor attended Joshua’s victory over Robert Helenius at the O2 Arena in London. After the fight, he congratulated the boxer in the ring. Clarifying a past incident, the ‘Notorious’ recently posted on Instagram and wrote,

“1 year ago today, @forgedirishstout busy year! Also for the record I didn’t make Joshua do anything. He exited the ring post his amazing victory and came straight to me and said “where is my Forged!” I gave him mine.”


McGregor also stated that he doesn’t blame AJ, as he was confident that Joshua thoroughly enjoyed the Irish Stout after the fight. He also praised their deal with Matchroom Boxing, noting that it has been very positive and beneficial for their fighters as well. Meanwhile, the Irish fighter is still out of the octagon, and fans are waiting for his return.

Fans eagerly await McGregor‘s return to the octagon. However, after his withdrawal from the fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, fans were anticipating a new date. UFC President Dana White has now delivered shocking news. White mentioned that despite McGregor’s strong desire to return, he would not step into the octagon in 2024.Dana White addressed Conor McGregor’s post about wanting to face Michael Chandler in December. White said, “I believe a Conor McGregor fight is going to happen, I’ll announce it. As of right now, I believe Conor will not fight this year”

The return of fan-favorite Conor McGregor is not set for this year. Fans will have to wait longer to find out if he will fight at all this year, as that remains uncertain.
