Denise Welch continues to face criticism from fans for her uncontrolled language. She will face consequences for messing with the Royal Family!

Prior to the Coronation of King Charles III Denise Welch had a lot to say about the now Queen Camilla.

A resurfaced clip from Loose Women has served as a reminder of panellist Denise Welch’s brutal nickname for Queen Camilla.

Prior to the Coronation of King Charles III, the panel of the ITV show, comprised of Denise’s co-stars Brenda Edwards, Linda Robson,

and Jane Moore, discussed the forthcoming festivities a month before the event.

During the chat, Denise referred to Camilla as “the sidepiece” claiming she isn’t a fan.

“I’m trying to get some enthusiasm for the Coronation and I haven’t got any. I am not particularly a Camilla fan. I just think, and I am not moralising, I’ve had a past.

“But the fact is that I just think she was there from the beginning of his marriage to Diana and I think it is disrespectful to, certainly Prince Harry and William.

“I just do, I can’t get over that she was the sidepiece,” she added. Her colleague Jane chimed in: “So we kind of know what camp you’re in.”

Charles and Camilla famously had an affair while the monarch was still married to Diana, Princess of Wales.

When news of their affair came to light she faced intense hostility from the public, which worsened in the aftermath of Diana’s death in 1997.

However, she worked hard to rehabilitate public image and by time the couple married 19 years ago in 2005 she was beloved by the British people.

Despite this, it was believed she would be known as Queen Consort following the Coronation on May 6 last year.

The difference between Queen Consort and Queen Regent is that the first designates a member has become Queen by marrying the King, as opposed to a Queen who is reigning on her own.

This turned out not to be the case though as just six days after the ceremony the palace posted her official Coronation portrait on X referring to her as “Queen”.

“An official portrait of Her Majesty the Queen following her Coronation of 6th May,” the caption read.

From that point forward Camilla has been known as Queen Camilla.

After the Coronation of King Charles III, Queen Camilla has continued to gain support and respect from the public. Despite the controversy surrounding her relationship with Prince Charles in the past, she has worked tirelessly to win over the hearts of the British people.

It is clear that Queen Camilla’s efforts to rehabilitate her image have been successful. Her dedication to her role as a member of the royal family has not gone unnoticed, and her official title as Queen has solidified her place in history.

Many now see Queen Camilla as a symbol of resilience and grace, overcoming past challenges to become a respected figure in the monarchy. Her journey from being labeled as a “sidepiece” to being recognized as Queen is a testament to her determination and perseverance.

As we look forward to seeing more of Queen Camilla’s impact on the royal family, it is important to acknowledge the progress she has made and the positive influence she continues to have on those around her.
