When you do clownery, the clown comes back to bite.

That’s what Nicki Minaj, 41, told Steve Madden on Tuesday, after he denied the female rapper’s claims on having once offered her an endorsement deal in the midst of her feud with rival Cardi B, 32.

Following Nicki’s explosive rant on her Queen Radio show on Monday, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker embarked on a lengthy rant with her nemesis over social media for hours.

I have something to say! Madden claimed that the 35-year-old had lied about ever being offered a deal by the fashion mogul

In response to the comment made by the Come See About Me hitmaker, Madden made quite the attempt to discredit Nicki’s words.

‘@NICKIMINAJ you can’t turn down an offer that was never made. #StopLying,’ the fashion mogul tweeted.

And, of course, given she’s not someone who is quick to back down, the Super Bass star made sure to not only bash the 60-year-old on her social media page but also show evidence that there was an offer made by the New Yorker himself.

Journalist Adelle Platon, who interviewed Madden for an interview in 2015, had also made her voice heard during the commotion.

Platon mentioned how a deal between the rapper definitely seemed to have been in the works, especially after the father-of-three admitted to having regrets of not working with Nicki in the past.

‘I was gonna do a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and we got into a fight the first minute we met,’ he said in the 2015 interview, according to Platon.

‘And then we patched it up. We were cool. We text each other, we became sort of buddies. We were thinking of doing something, and I would’ve, but I was with Iggy and I thought, ‘Coke and Pepsi.’

It was a mistake. I made a mistake and I wish that I could go back in time and work with Nicki instead of Iggy.’

In response to being brought up in the topic of discussion, Iggy Azalea had shared the tweet with her fans.

In the midst of eventually having heard about Madden’s attempt to discredit claims she had an endorsement deal in line with his brand, Nicki made sure she was the last one laughing.

She took to her Twitter handle again, thanking the Fancy rapper for shedding light on Madden’s character.

‘Thank you @IGGYAZALEA for confirming the truth about h*e n**** Steve Madden. ya
