Michael Jordan revealed who he is afraid of in the sporting world.
Michael Jordan has named the ONE sportsman he was ‘scared’ of and ‘stayed away from’ in an honest admission.
Jordan is regarded as one of the greatest ever sportsman following his legendary exploits in basketball.
He won an impressive six NBA championships during his iconic spell at Chicago Bulls, where he was integral in popularising the sport and the NBA brand around the world.
‘MJ’ was a feared man at the peak of his powers, but, away from the court, he was ‘scared’ of one sportsman.
He revealed that he’s afraid of British golfer Ian Poulter, making the confession in an interview with Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry as the duo discussed their mutual love of golf.
“I’m not scared of anybody, but Ian Poulter,” he joked in the interview.
“I used to go and watch him all the time. If I’m in any of his matches or walking down, he finds me after he makes a good putt, and it’s like, ‘Man, I didn’t do anything. I like you. I support you’.
“I stay away from him when I’m walking. I won’t go watch him.”

Arsenal fan Poulter has been ranked as high as number five in the world rankings. His highlights include two World Golf Championships at the 2010 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and the 2012 WGC-HSBC Champions.
Jordan, meanwhile, is no slouch on the golf course, having played plenty of times with Rickie Fowler.
In quotes from an episode of ‘Slow News Day’, Fowler revealed how playing with Jordan has helped to improve his overall game.
“I’m lucky enough to call him a friend, and we play a decent amount,” he explained.
“I think it’s very beneficial for me. One, you’re playing against MJ, one of the most clutch guys there is
“He’s good, especially when you get him around the greens and putting. He’ll putt anyone straight up.”
