There are few country music stars bigger than Tim McGraw, and his following should only grow after the most recent headlines about him.

And that’s because those headlines pertain to just how far the singer went out of his way to make one girl’s Make-A-Wish come true. Per Southern Living, McGraw was alerted to the girl — Emily Kelley — by record executive Scooter Braun. Braun apparently heard Kelley’s story during a Make-A-Wish board meeting back in January.

What happened next, Braun said, “is the feel good story we all need right now.”

“She has been overcoming so much hand fighting the good fight and her dream was to meet Tim McGraw,” Braun shared on Instagram. “When we heard this I reached out to Tim and like the incredible human he is he agreed. With 2 days to go something unfortunately came up and Tim was no longer going to be in Nashville.”

Braun said they looked at McGraw’s schedule and determined that McGraw could meet Emily again at a show in her area three months later.

“That 3 months was too long to wait,” he wrote. “(McGraw) asked me where Emily lived in Kentucky and Tim said that he would get in his truck the following week and drive up to Emily the 2 to 3 hours and spend the day with her. What!?!”

Braun wrote “that is exactly what happened.”

Braun then shared a video of McGraw explaining to the girl that he was sorry he couldn’t meet with her on the scheduled day, but was hoping to drive up and meet her and her family and spend the day with them.

He also shared a video of the girl responding in a video, crying, and saying how excited she was to meet McGraw.

“Thank you for granting my wish,” she says as she wipes away tears.

He also shared a photo of McGraw standing with Kelley and her family.

“Time is truly humble and kind,” Braun wrote. “True Legend of a human! And yes Emily was at the show in Nashville with Time in his past weekend too.”
